LUM D’OR Spa Chalet is an exclusive hideaway in the renowned ski resort of Selva Val Gardena. This elegant chalet sits in an elevated setting amongst the world-famous Dolomite mountains. Located at an altitude of 1,690m, the architecture integrates harmoniously into the landscape. The chalet is arranged over three floors and 170m2 of floor space all connected by stairs and an elevator. On the top floor is the lounge and dining area with fireplace and open-plan kitchen. Glass door leads out onto the terrace with a heated seating area where you can admire the views of the Sassolungo and Sella Massif mountains.
The chalet can accommodate up to eight guests in four en-suite bedrooms. On the middle floor of the chalet, along with the entrance area, there are three double bedrooms each with en-suite WC, bidet and shower, plus direct access to the garden, complete with panoramic views. The final bedroom is on the lowest floor and can be arranged with either a double or twin bed, along with an en-suite shower room.
On the lowest level of the chalet is the in-house spa area, a fitness room and the bike and ski depot with ski boot warmers. The chalet’s wellness area is equipped with a Finnish sauna, steam bath, hot tub and relaxation oasis perfect for unwinding after a day’s skiing or a summer hike in the Dolomites.
If you fancy a workout away from the ski slopes or hiking trails, you can use the innovative fitness room, equipped with the finest sports equipment from Technogym. Afterwards, the stylish Aquamoon shower, with three different jet types and atmospheric mood lighting, ensures an invigorating sand refreshing shower experience.
Outside, you can relax in the 8 x 5-metre outdoor infinity pool, which is heated all-year-round and features a hot tub corner, as well as a fantastic view of the mountain landscape of the Dolomites. In the summer months, the garden with sunbathing area tempts you to soak up the mountain sun.
For those looking to drive to Selva Gardena, the underground garage offers space for three cars and has an e-charging station. From the garage you can easily reach the upper floors of the chalet by elevator. Outside, there are an additional two car parking spaces.
The chalet is located above the village of Selva di Val Gardena, a five-minute drive from the Dantercepies gondola, ski slopes and resort centre. In the winter season, the Val Gardena ski area is part of the Dolomiti Superski resort, boasting the world’s largest ski carousel with 1,200 kilometers of slopes. The famed Sellaronda ski circuit is conveniently accessible from the chalet via your private shuttle service.
If you prefer to explore the winter scenery on cross country skis, you can discover picturesque trails that wind through enchanting snow-covered meadows and forests in the nearby Langental and on the Seiser Alm.
During the summer months, the Dolomites are a hikers paradise with numerous trails in the valleys or high up in the mountains. Gondolas and cable cars open in the summer to make accessing walks amongst the peaks nice and easy, leaving you with plenty of energy for your hike. Golfers will enjoy the four 18-hole and five 9-hole courses located in the South Tyrol area, which are easily accessible by car.
