Fairway Lodge is a self-catered chalet in Cervinia with stunning views of the famous Matterhorn mountain. The chalet takes its name from its location on the 9th hole of Cervinia’s famous golf course. The setting, a few minutes’ drive from the resort centre, provides for a magnificent mountain sanctuary for your ski holiday surrounded by nature and dramatic scenery.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and 160m2 of floor area. The property is surrounded by terraces, so you can enjoy the sun whenever it is shining, no matter what time of day. Al fresco dining in the warmer spring months has never had quiet such a magnificent mountain backdrop! The entrance to the chalet is on the ground floor and is accessed via the garage parking.
Sleeping up to 8-12 guests, there are three double bedrooms, three bathrooms plus a further double bedroom on the top floor with its own toilet. The additional four guests can be accommodated on double sofa beds in the master bedroom and on the mezzanine. The chalet ideally suits a group of 8 adults or family groups with children utilising the sofa beds.
On the middle level are the communal living spaces with a living room plus kitchen / diner. The lounge has a wood burning fireplace, flat screen TV along with a sofa and armchairs. The well-equipped kitchen is adjacent to the dining table. Upstairs on the mezzanine is the TV snug which doubles as the additional sleeping space with a double sofa bed.
The chalet also has access to shared spa facilities in the neighbouring apartment residence. Here you can unwind in the sauna or steam room, before relaxing on a lounger or waterbed. For those looking to keep in shape even when off the ski slopes, there is also a well-equipped fitness room. If driving to resort, there is also underground car parking available.
Cervinia is one of the highest and most snow-sure ski resorts in the Alps. Skiers and snowboarders can take advantage of access to the 313km of slopes of the Matterhorn Ski Paradise shared with Zermatt. Also, from the summer of 2023, it will be possible to experience travelling from Breuil-Cervinia to Zermatt without skis via the pioneering Matterhorn Alpine Crossing using cable cars to cross the highest border crossing in the Alps.
The Alps are also a wonderful destination for a summer holiday when you can enjoy gloriously long days of golf, hikes in the mountains and cycling along the river that runs right next to the Fairway Lodge. Another great benefit of a holiday in Italy is food and Cervinia’s many restaurants offer a great selection of both Italian and international cuisine.
There are a couple of restaurants, a bar, and ski rental shop in the Grand Hotel Cervino which is located close to the Fairway Lodge. The nearest supermarket is located in the centre of Cervinia, whilst the nearest ski bus stop is a 400m walk away.
Fairway Lodge is available on a self-catered basis and includes daily housekeeping plus access to the shared spa facilities. Also included are daily return shuttle runs to Cervinia centre, the ski lifts, and ski school meeting points. The shuttle service from 8.30 to 10.30 in the morning and from 15.30 to 17.30 in the afternoon. It is possible to organise additional shuttle runs outside these hours with an additional charge.
The price is based on exclusive use of the chalet for up to 8 guests. There is an additional charge for guests 9 to 12.
