Cesa del Louf is located in an elevated setting above the resort of Arabba, in the heart of the Dolomites, Italy. This beautifully renovated and private farmhouse is perfect for those looking to reconnect with nature in an authentic mountain environment. Set within 20,000m2 of pasture and with 4,000m2 of wood land, you’ll have a great chance to spot wildlife including foxes, roe deer, hares and marmots.
The property is made up of two internally connected chalets, the larger Maso and smaller Masetto. Together they offer 827m2 of living space and can accommodate up to 10-20 guests. Each has been carefully renovated with recycled materials to revive the original character, whilst equipped with modern technology and amenities for maximum comfort.
The main chalet is arranged over three floors plus a mezzanine and offers three large suites which can accommodate additional children. The living room, dining room and kitchen are open plan, and this space is flooded with natural light and panoramic mountain views through the floor to ceiling windows. Terraces and balconies wrap around the chalet meaning the views can be enjoyed in every direction.
An elevator connects the ground (spa), first (living area) and second (suite 1, 2, 3) floors in the main chalet (Maso).
The smaller chalet (Masetto) is home to two further suites, as well as the dedicated cinema room. A wellness area on the ground floor is directly accessible by both chalets. This spectacular vaulted stone spa features a large relaxation area with loungers, swimming pool, whirlpool Jacuzzi, sauna, Turkish bath, and sensory shower. There is also an outdoor hot tub, and in the summer months, an outdoor shower will leave you feeling refreshed after a day’s hiking.
In the winter, and for strong skiers, it is possible to ski off-piste to and from the chalet. The village centre of Arabba is 700m away, and the ski area is perfectly positioned to enjoy the famed Sella Ronda ski circuit. You have free access to use the private snowcat and quad to drive to and from the chalet to the village. In the winter it is best to park your cars below the chalet and then use the snowcat and quad to transfer up to the chalet.
In the winter a driver service is included in the price from 8:30 to 17:00 with a special vehicle (8 seats+driver) at your guests disposal from the chalet to the Arabba ski lifts. A quad and snowcat, snowmobile and Land rover Defender are available for the chalet staff to assist with chalet arrival and luggage.
Cesa del louf is available to rent on a self-catered chalet basis. It is also possible to add in additional services such as a chef and butler with an additional charge.
For smaller groups, it is also possible to just rent the larger chalet (Maso), which can sleep up to 6-11 guests. The additional 2 bedroom “Baitina House” sleeping 4, and an additional 1 bedroom “Bee House” sleeping 2, both 10m from chalet, are also available at additional cost, and can bring the total occupancy up to 26 guests.
