Chalet Orlov is a luxury ski chalet in the high altitude ski resort of Val Thorens. The chalet is orientated south with stunning views over the ski area and surrounding snow covered mountain peaks. Built on the mountainside and situated at the top of the resort you will have quick access to the ski slopes of Val Thorens that offer snow-sure skiing from November to May.
This luxurious ski chalet is arranged over four floors and offers 320m2 of living space. There is an elevator running through the chalet providing access to each of the four floors. The chalet sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 spacious bedrooms all with en-suite bathroom facilities. Four double bedrooms can be arranged with king-size double or twin beds, offering great flexibility for groups, families and corporate ski holidays.
The entire top floor of the chalet is given over to open plan living. This impressive space has plenty of room for friends and family to enjoy quality holiday time together. The well-equipped kitchen has all you need to cook up wonderful meals while the adjoining dining area has a large table that easily seats 10. The living area has plenty of comfortable seating and takes full advantage of the views. Enjoy relaxing by the fireplace, or step outside onto the south facing balcony and enjoy the panorama of snow covered mountains.
Stepping down one floor and you will discover the private spa facilities. After enjoying some serious après ski at the infamous Folie Douce, unwind and rejuvenate in the warmth of the sauna and steam room. There are also 2 double / twin bedrooms on this floor, one with a south facing balcony. A further floor down is an additional double / twin bedroom as well as the master suite with large dressing room and wrap-around balcony with mountain views.
On the entrance floor of the chalet is the fifth bedroom which is a twin room and is perfect for 2 children. This room has an en-suite shower room. The ground floor also features a dedicated cinema room that provides a great space for children, or a relaxed night in with the latest blockbuster movie. For those who are keen for further exercise even after a day’s skiing in the 3 Valleys, there is a private gym / fitness suite.
Access to the ski slopes could not be easier as you only have to walk 150m to the Hotel Koh-I Nor, click into your skis or snowboard and slide away into the ski area. For those that convenient access to the skiing is the ultimate ski holiday luxury, then Chalet Orlov is an excellent choice.
The nearest ski lifts are a 300m ski away and the Place Caron with Tourist office in the centre of Val Thorens is about 500m. You can either walk the 10-15 minutes to the resort centre or use the in-resort shuttle service that is available to guests at the chalet.
The chalet also benefits from a private ski room. For larger groups Chalet Orlov can be rented in conjunction with Chalet Cullinan and Chalet Jubilee to sleep groups of up to 34 people. With its snow-sure slopes and modern lift system a ski holiday in Val Thorens is a great choice for dedicated skiers and snowboarders.
Chalet Orlov is available on a bed & breakfast basis, and includes free access to the spa with swimming pools, sauna, Jacuzzi and relaxing rooms plus fitness room of the Hotel Koh-I Nor, which is located next door. On request, it is also possible to rent on a catered basis with dinner served in the restaurant of the Hotel Koh-I Nor.
