Hameau Alpin — a combination of Chalet Le Rocher and Chalet des Légendes in Val d’Isere — can jointly accommodate up to 22 adults and 4 children. The two chalets are located just a few steps away from each other making this a great option for multi-generational celebrations or for several families looking to holiday together in the same location.
While the service offering differs between the two properties, this is a unique opportunity for groups to experience dining options across both an Ultimate Catered Chalet and a Relaxed Catered Chalet. It also includes two evenings where the entire group can come together in Le Rocher for a celebratory ‘Cocktail Dinatoire’ canapé party dining experience.
Together, the two chalets offer a plethora of spa facilities, including two swimming pools, two indoor hot tubs, a sauna, hammam and massage rooms. A children’s playroom will delight the youngest guests, while adults will appreciate the dedicated bar and elegant dining spaces, perfect for grown-up entertaining.
CHALET LE ROCHER
Chalet Le Rocher, located at the top of a private road, which assures privacy and enjoyment of views of the Isère valley, is truly an exceptional chalet. Spread over 800m2, this authentic chalet has been accompanied perfectly with cutting edge style and innovation. Everything has been considered to bring you the ultimate ski chalet, all just a short stroll or quick chauffeured drive from the centre of Val d’Isère.
Take the lift to the second floor and the magnificent living area with its vaulted ceiling and stylish decor will wow you. Sensational modern glass chandeliers complement cowhide sofas and light shades, and the crackling log fire is the focal point of the room.
Venture out onto the balcony in front of the imposing “rock” mountainside to enjoy a glass of Perrier-Jouët champagne while gazing at the stars. Back inside, your very own private bar is waiting for a pre-dinner cocktail or post-dinner digestif.
Le Rocher has seven beautifully designed bedrooms, made with reclaimed wood from Mongolia and intricately carved furnishings and creates a stunning alpine feeling. Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and TV facilities. For those lucky enough to stay in the master bedroom suite, pure indulgence awaits with his and her dressing rooms.
The facilities in Le Rocher include a 7x5m indoor swimming pool with jet stream, alongside an indoor hot tub and sauna. This fabulous spa has its own cinema projector with integrated sound. For the youngest guests there is also a children’s playroom with a fun Lego corner as well as a TV and games console.
CHALET DES LEGENDES
Chalet des Legendes is a luxury catered chalet located in the exclusive enclave of Les Balmes in Val d’Isere. The chalet delivers a seamless blend of Alpine charm and contemporary elegance with its stylish décor. Tucked away at the top of the Rue du Rocher, the setting offers tranquillity yet is only a short distance to the vibrant centre of Val d’Isere.
The chalet accommodates 8-12 guests in five en-suite bedrooms, including a stunning master suite and a children’s bunk room. The bedrooms have been thoughtfully equipped with ambient lighting, luxurious linens and spa-inspired bathrooms, to ensure a restful night’s sleep and refreshing start to your morning.
The spacious lounge area features double-height ceilings, a central fireplace and elegant furnishings that invite guests to unwind after a day on the mountain. The open plan living and dining area delivers panoramic views, a fully equipped bar, and eclectic lighting. The décor seamlessly blends a palette of natural materials, including stone, wood, and bronze accents, that all adds to the sophisticated Alpine ambience.
Upon your return from the ski slopes, the private ski room, complete with ski racks and heated boot warmers, is conveniently located. There is comfortable seating ideal for getting ready and adjusting your ski boots, along with storage solutions for all your equipment. This space leads through to your private and fully stocked bar, and the perfect spot for your own après-ski unwind.
If you need to relax further, then it is time to head to the chalet spa area. Take a rejuvenating dip in the indoor pool, ease-tired bodies in the steam room, or simply sink into the sunken Jacuzzi. Afterwards, relax on one of the loungers with your holiday read or glass of bubbly, or book in for a treatment in the private massage room.
The main snow front in the centre of Val d’Isere is easily accessed with the in-resort driver service and take around 4-minutes. From here you have a choice of lifts, including the Bellevarde and Solaise gondolas, and is also the meeting point for the ski schools. You could also start your ski day in La Daille and take the funicular or gondola from here and a great choice if heading over to the ski slopes in Tignes.
The centre of Val d’Isere is a 3-minute drive away or if you prefer to walk it is 700m away and takes approximately 10-minutes on foot. Val d’Isere has a very lively après ski scene to enjoy at the end of your ski day, after which your driver will be available to take you back to the chalet in comfort. For any non-skiers, the resort is a charming place for a mooch with numerous shops and cafes.
