Chalet Yeti is tucked away in the hamlet of Les Carats just above Val d’Isere. The setting on the edge of the forest is perfect for those looking for a discreet location in this world class ski resort. The nearest ski slope, which also happens to be the world cup downhill run “Face”, is just a 100m walk away. The elevated setting also ensures panoramic views over the mountains and ski slopes.
This self-catered chalet is arranged over four floors and 335m2. The main entrance is on the first floor where you arrive into the bright and spacious living areas. The double-height ceilings and large bay windows let natural light flood in and provide stunning views. With a huge fireplace, bar area and TV snug, this is a great space for entertaining.
The dining room is a couple of steps up from the living room and seats ten, whilst the semi-open kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking. Outside the large terrace wraps around the living areas and is surrounded by tall pine trees. Heading upstairs and there is an additional cosy living area with its own fireplace. It’s the perfect spot to curl up with a good book, or for a little quiet time.
The chalet sleeps up to 10 guests in five double bedrooms all with either en-suite or private bathroom facilities. Occupying the entire top floor is the master suite with fireplace, TV, dressing area, and an en-suite with shower and spa bath with mountain views. On the second floor there are two double and one twin bedroom, and the final double bedroom is on the ground floor.
The ground floor is also home to the private spa that features an indoor swimming pool, seating area, hammam, and a shower room. It offers a haven for relaxation after a day’s skiing, or perfect for any non-skiers who wish to take the day easy. Also on this floor is a cinema room with the latest audio-visual equipment and sink-in sofa ideal for evening movie nights in.
The centre of Val d’Isere with its lively après ski and bar scene, as well as a wide variety of restaurants is a 3-minute drive or around a 10-minute walk away. The Bellavarde Express chairlift is a 5-minute walk away, with both the fast L’Olympic and Solaise lifts within 10 minutes. For those driving to resort there are 2 indoor car parking spaces available.
