Heading up stairs and you are sure to be impressed with the double-height living space with sweeping quadruple-aspect mountain views of the Bellevarde, Solaise, Signal, and Tovière summits. This light filled open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is equipped with a wood-burning fireplace and oversized sofas all sitting beneath the stunning timber roof.

The living room provides a cosy vantage point from which to watch the weekly torchlit descents down La Face de Bellevarde by the ski school instructors, as well as regular firework displays above the resort. The well-equipped kitchen with island unit is perfect for social gatherings, especially with the adjacent dining area which can comfortably seat eight.

Outside, a generously sized south-facing roof terrace provides the perfect spot for springtime al fresco dining with a panoramic mountain backdrop. Alternatively, once the sun has set in the depths of winter, you can look up at the stars or watching the piste bashers hard at work preparing the slopes for your arrival the next morning.

A private ski room is equipped with heated boot warmers and is conveniently located near the main chalet entrance on the ground floor and can be accessed via the elevator. If driving to resort, parking facilities are located on the lower ground floor, also accessible by elevator, and there are three underground parking spaces available for groups with multiple cars.

To access the ski slopes, the Fornet cable car is a 200m walk away and gives access to the Fornet sector of the Espace Killy ski area. This sector has the highest ski slopes of Val d’Isere and is also home to the Pisaillas glacier which has pistes extending above 3,000m. The home run back to the village of Le Fornet is on a red run called Mangard, thought you can download in the cable car if you prefer.

The centre of Val d’Isere and the main snow front, Solaise and Bellevarde lifts, and ski school meet points are all easily accessible using the free resort ski bus. The ski bus can also be used to access the La Daille area, which is closest to the Tignes slopes, and has both a funicular railway and gondola to access the mountain.

Val d’Isere has a very vibrant bar, restaurant and nightlife scene and which is also easily accessible using the bus service which is frequent and runs late into the night. If you are also enjoying après ski at the famous Folie Douce, afterwards you ski or take the gondola back down to La Daille and can then catch the bus back to Le Fornet.
