Ubud is a new luxury ski chalet completed in the spring of 2017. Located in an elevated position in Tignes les Brevieres, it was designed by Guerlain Chicherit, the brainchild behind chalets Quezac and Rock n Love.
The chalet’s design takes inspiration from the beautiful, iconic town of Ubud on the relaxed island of Bali. Well known for its intricately carved wooden furniture and crafts, Guerlain has incorporated many original pieces into the chalet.
The chalet is one of 6 within the Black Diamond residence that share a communal entrance along with stairs and elevator access to the properties front door. Once inside, the chalet is spread over 4 floors and 400m2 of living space all connected by private staircase.
The chalet sleeps 10 adults and 4 children in 6 bedrooms spread across the first, second and fourth floors. The centrepiece of the chalet is the third floor with open plan living space with lounge, dining room and kitchen.
The double height ceilings and picture windows that surround the feature dining table let the light and stunning views flood in and provide the perfect backdrop for evening dinner parties.
The lounge has plenty of comfy seating to unwind on, whilst the table football will provide endless hours of entertainment. The east and south facing balconies provide outstanding views of the lake and Tignes les Brevières below.
The chalet is very well appointed when it comes to well-being and rejuvenation. The 6 chalets of the Black Diamond residence share access to communal spa facilities including an indoor swimming pool, large sauna and hammam, gym, as well spacious terrace with stunning views. The chalet also has its own private outdoor hot tub.
The property is 100m from the mini funicular access, which provides easy access to the centre of resort and ski lifts and pistes. From there, Tignes Le Lac is 2 ski lifts away, whilst Val d’Isère only 3. Please note the mini funicular access from central Brevières to the chalets stops at around 18:30 daily.
For larger group ski holiday’s, the Chalet Ubud can be rented in conjunction with Chalet Babylon, Chalet Banksy, Chalet Raven, Chalet Tango or Chalet Charlie.
Chalet Ubud is available on a bed & breakfast, catered and self-catered basis.
