Chalet Carriaz is a spacious self-catered chalet located at the entrance to Meribel Village. The chalet provides a great home for a large group of friends or several families looking to ski holiday together. Arranged over four floors and 380m2 of floor area, there is lots of room for everyone, and the setting affords great views over the valley and mountains.
The main open plan living rooms are spread across the ground floor. There are two lounge areas, one with a flat screen TV and one with a fireplace. The large dining table seating 14 sits at the heart of the floor with the open and fully equipped kitchen to one side. This space opens out onto a terrace with outdoor hot tub. There is also a ski room to store all your mountain equipment.
Up on the first floor is a second living area with additional lounge, dining area and kitchenette. This space works specially well for family groups as it can provide a separate dining and play area for children. Upstairs on the top floor is also a dedicated TV room.
Sleeping up to 14 people, there are seven en-suite bedrooms. On the lowest floor of the chalet are two double and two double/twin bedrooms. On the first floor a further one double and one twin/double bedrooms. Whilst tucked away on the top floor is the seventh bedroom with double bed and private balcony.
The centre of Meribel Village with its bakery, small supermarket, ski rental shop, restaurant, and lively après ski venue is just a 350m walk away. From here you can take the Golf chairlift and ski away onto the slopes of Meribel and into the 3 Valleys ski area. You can ski back to Meribel Village on the blue Lapin piste at the end of your ski day.
Meribel Village provides a very relaxed base for your ski holiday. The village is connected by the regular and efficient ski bus to the main resort of Meribel Centre. Here there are many more restaurants, bars, and shops to discover before returning home to your beautiful chalet. For those requiring group ski school, the meeting points are all located at the Chaudanne snow front in Meribel Centre.
Chalet Carriaz is a great choice for large groups looking for a good value luxury chalet in Meribel.
For larger groups, Chalet Altais is located in front of Chalet Carriaz and sleeps 8+2. If rented together the two chalets provide accommodation for 22-24 guests in the same location.
