Chalet Eagle is a self-catered chalet a few minutes’ drive from Megeve. Located in the Princess neighbourhood, the setting is both private and quiet. The chalet has a traditional wood and stone exterior though with a contemporary grey finish. The interior is modern with plenty of light-coloured wood panelling complemented by dark grey touches. The chalet is arranged over 350m2 of living space and four floors all connected by stairs and a lift.
The main living areas spread across the first floor and which opens out onto a terrace that delivers fantastic views of Mont Blanc. The open plan living spaces create a lovely feeling of space and makes for a convivial atmosphere in the evenings. The lounge area has comfortable sofas and armchairs all facing a wood burning fireplace and flat screen TV. The dining table seats 10 easily and is overlooked by the fully equipped kitchen.
Sleeping 8-10 guests there are five bedrooms. Upstairs on the top floor is the master suite with balcony and en-suite bathroom. Also upstairs is an open mezzanine area with office desk and loungers and the perfect spot for some quiet time. The remaining four bedrooms are on the first floor, with three twin/double and one bunk room with additional single bed. Two of these bedrooms have en-suite facilities, whilst two bedrooms share a separate shower room.
On the lowest floor are the entertainment and spa facilities with an indoor hot tub, relaxation area and cinema / media room. There is also garage parking available as well as a ski room with heated boot warmers. The closest ski lift is La Princess and is 1,100m away, or you can also access the skiing from the ski lift in the village of Combloux around 1,500m away. The centre of Megeve is 3,800m from the chalet.
