Chalet Tosca is a luxury ski chalet in Les Gets offering panoramic views over the resort and mountains. Located in a peaceful setting, and with a large garden, it makes for a wonderful alpine retreat for your ski holiday. On the Chavannes side of the village, when snow conditions allow, you can also ski-out on a gentle 200m traverse and join onto the Bruyère piste. This ski slope leads onto the home run down to the Chavannes gondola and chairlift.
The chalet is spread over four floors and can accommodate up to 12-14 guests. The entrance to the chalet is on level two, where you will also find the spacious ski room with plenty of storage space along with heated boot and glove warmers. Taking the stairs up to the next level, you arrive into the stunning open plan living areas where you are greeted with stunning views over Mt Chéry through the floor-to-ceiling windows.
This floor offers two distinct spaces, one for relaxing and the other for cooking and dining. The living room has two separate seating areas, one with a big sofa area for socialising by the wood-burning stove, and a cosy nook for watching TV. The modern kitchen with island unit and breakfast bar overlooks the dining table, which can seat 14 people. Step outside to the wide balcony and you can enjoy the mountain panorama with your morning coffee, or a pre-dinner aperitif.
The chalet’s five bedrooms are spread between the top floor and lower two floors. The master suite occupies the whole of the top floor, and the bed is positioned to make the most of the views over Mt Chéry ski slopes. This private sanctuary has its own en-suite shower room and features an egg-shaped bathtub in the bedroom, so you can soak in the bubbles overlooking the mountains.
On level two there is a further double bedroom with en-suite shower room, and a quad bunk room with four single beds and en-suite bathroom. There is also a study room which can sleep an additional two people if required. On the lowest level are a further two double bedrooms, both with en-suite shower rooms. For maximum flexibility, all double beds can also be arranged as twin beds.
When not spending time on the ski slopes you can enjoy the spa and entertainment facilities at the chalet. There is a wellness area with sauna and shower, whilst outside there is a hot tub to sink into. Back inside and you can enjoy cosy movie nights in the dedicated cinema room. There is also space for spa treatments and in-chalet massages can be arranged at extra cost.
If driving to resort, the chalet’s driveway has space for five cars, and two of the parking spaces are also covered by a carport.
The chalet is a four-minute drive from the centre of Les Gets, where you have the choice of the Chavannes Express chairlift, Téléski du Stade or Mont-Chéry gondola. It is also possible to start your day’s skiing from the Télésiège des Folliets du Golf which is just a one-minute drive up the hill. The chalet’s location by the Chavannes slope makes it easy to reach the Snowpark Les Gets, Boarder Cross Les Gets, and Les Mappys, as well as enjoying all the slopes on the Les Gets-Morzine ski pass.
If staying at the chalet in the summer, children can enjoy playing on the balance logs in the garden and you can challenge friends and family to a game of petanque. There is also a great dining area and seating area for sundowners to make the most of the evening light. The path at the bottom of the garden will take you on a pretty 15-minute walk to the swimming lake, Lac des Ecoles.
This area is also home to the incredible Alta Lumina light show experience, a magical walk through the woods that is special in both summer and winter.
When staying at Chalet Tosca you can also add access to a 24-hour in-resort driver service to your booking with extra cost. Simply call or WhatsApp the driver service and your group can go wherever you like in Morzine or Les Gets, day or night. You can be dropped at the ski lifts or ski school, picked up from bars and restaurants, or driven to the local spa for the day.
Chalet Tosca is available to rent on a self-catered basis in both winter and summer.
