Chalet Rosoire is a self-catered ski chalet located in Courchevel Moriond (1650). One of the chalets in the Domaine des Glaciers private hamlet at the entrance to the resort, this luxury chalet features a stylish interior and stunning views across the resort and ski slopes. The resort centre is just a 230 metre walk away, so it is easy to enjoy all this relaxed and sunny ski resort has to offer.
The chalet is arranged across three levels and 211m2 of floor area. Sleeping up to 12 guests there are five bedrooms with en-suite or private bathroom facilities. There are three double bedrooms as well as a children’s room with two bunk beds sleeping 4.
The top floor is home to the open plan living rooms all sitting under a beautiful exposed wooden roof frame. The design blends contemporary lines, raw materials and a palette of grey, black and ochre. On snowy winter evenings, take a seat on the elegant, comfortable sofa to warm up by the gas fireplace and chat away late into the evening with friends and family.
The kitchen with its central island, lounge, and dining area with round dining table sit side by side and create a convivial atmosphere perfect for shared holiday moments. Large windows and a balcony let you enjoy the view of Courchevel Village (1550) and Courchevel 1850 and their network of ski slopes.
On the lowest garden level is also a relaxation area with sunken hot tub that looks out onto the mountains through large, glazed doors which open to the fresh mountain air. There are also ski boot warmers to ensure your boots are nice and dry in the mornings, as well as laundry facilities with a washing machine and tumble dryer. There is also a car parking space available for any guests driving to Courchevel.
To access the ski slopes it is a 430m walk to the main snow front and the Ariondaz gonolda. The Ariondaz gonolda brings you up to an altitude of 2,052m and from where you can choose to ski the quieter local slopes, or head over towards the pistes of Courchevel 1850. Courchevel 1650 has an excellent network of green, blue and red slopes all with stunning views away from the crowds.
On the main snow front are the ski school meeting points as well as the Club Piou Piou for 3 to 5-year-olds where they can start their own adventures on snow. Courchevel Moriond is one of the best ski resorts in the Alps for learning to ski with excellent tuition and slopes to progress on. There are also ski lockers available to rent for the week next to the ESF office so you can leave your boots and skis close to the departure of the slopes and not have to carry your equipment every day.
Courchevel Moriond as it is now known, or Courchevel 1650 as it used to be called, has a wide array of bars and restaurants, with something for everyone’s taste and budget. There is a very well-stocked supermarket and excellent bakery too. The Aquamotion aquatic, wellness and sports centre is also easily accessed by foot or using the resort ski bus.
