In the main house, there is one double bedroom, one twin/double bedroom, and one quad bunk room sleeping 4. These three bedrooms all have en-suite facilities. The other two bedrooms are in the other wing which is accessed internally on the lower ground floor. Here there is a further double and a further twin/double bedroom both of which have en-suite showers and share a separate toilet.

The chalet also has a washing machine and tumble dyer, as well as garage parking for one car and two exterior car parking spaces.

We recommend having your own car to make the most of the varied skiing that the Chamonix valley has to offer.

The nearest skiing to the chalet is at either Grands Montets or La Flegere, which are both just over a 4km drive away. The skiing at Grand Montets is the destination of choice for strong skiers in the valley, though it has a great beginner area at the bottom of the ski area. La Flegere offers a network of slopes perfect for intermediate skiers and is linked to Le Brevent right above Chamonix centre.

At either end of the valley are the ski areas of Les Houches and Le Tour where you can find slopes for all levels. The famous Aiguille du Midi cable car, a tourist attraction in its own right, is just over a 10km drive away and is the starting point for the famous Vallee Blanche off-piste route. The centre of Chamonix offers a huge selection shops, bars, restaurants, and amenities benefitting a year-round destination and town.

For stocking up on supplies for your self-catered ski holiday the nearest large supermarket is 8.4km from the chalet. If you do not fancy cooking in the evenings and want to stay local, there are a couple of hotel restaurants within 600m.

For larger groups, Chalet Cotes du Lavancher can be rented in conjunction with Chalet Silver Forest or Chalet Green Forest, both also located in the village of Lavancher. These chalets were created by the same architect and developer so are similar in quality and facilities.

Chalet Cotes du Lavancher is available to rent on a self-catered basis with daily housekeeping and daily delivery of bread & pastries. Additional services such as in-chalet catering or driver service can all be arranged at extra cost.
