Chalet Big Bear is a luxurious 5 bedroom catered chalet located in Argentière in the Chamonix valley. Sleeping up to 11 guests it features spectacular panoramic views of les Grands Montets, the world-renowned ski resort offering some of the most dramatic skiing in Europe. Built to a spectacular high-quality finish its design is a blend of local, Asian and city chic.
Here you can enjoy a lovely location in the heart of the old village of Argentière with the village centre just a few minutes away on foot. A south-west facing exposure and floor to ceiling windows make the most of the breathtaking panoramic views of the Mont Blanc and Aiguilles Rouges mountain ranges and the les Grands Montets ski resort and glacier.
The chalet is arranged over four floors and 280m2 of living space. The living rooms and kitchen are arranged over the first floor, and there is also a children’s playroom with flat screen TV, PlayStation and Nintendo Wii.
There are five en-suite double bedrooms, one of which also features a bunk bed for a child.
Daily in-resort transfers to the ski slopes are included, but if you prefer you can also make your way to the Grands Montets ski area on foot. Just walk through the back of Argentière and onto the cross-country ski track to join the home piste, and takes approximately 10-15 minutes.
There is also a complimentary bus service available within the valley and the nearest bus stop is in the middle of the Argentière village, only a few minutes away.
For larger groups, Chalet Zenith 1 and Chalet Zenith 2, the sister chalets to Chalet Big Bear, can be found directly next door and can be rented together to cater for groups of 35-40 people.
