Chalet Nightingale is a ski in ski out chalet in Alpe d’Huez. Sitting alongside its sister ‘Chalet Woodpecker’, this modern chalet has an excellent location in this high-altitude ski resort. Located on the Avenue de l’Eclose, at the southernmost part of the main village, the resort centre is only a 5 minute walk away.
The chalet is located just across from the slopes, so every morning you can step straight onto the piste. For beginners, the chalet is only a 3 minute walk from the Telecentre lift, leading to the nursery area and main lifts.
Recently renovated, the interior offers traditional Alpine wood panelling with a light, airy and modern feel. The chalet is arranged over three floors and sleeps 6 guests. The open plan living spaces and bedrooms are all spread across the first floor. On the ground floor is a ski room with heated boot dryers and on the lower ground floor a wellness area with indoor hot tub and sauna shared with Chalet Woodpecker.
For those driving to resort, there are four car parking spaces located in front of the chalet which are shared between Chalet Nightingale and Chalet Woodpecker. Please speak to the team to confirm how many spaces are available. There is free WIFI access throughout the chalet, perfect if you want to spend a relaxing evening streaming your favourite series, or you need to do some work whilst you’re away.
The chalet is perfect for a family looking to enjoy their own space, or as part of a larger group when booked together with neighbouring Chalet Woodpecker.
The chalet is available on a self-catered basis, but it is also possible to add in a contactless catered package. If booked on a contactless catered package the supplies you’ll need for breakfast every morning, afternoon snacks, pre-dinner nibbles and dinner for six evenings are provided in your chalet for you to cook and enjoy at a time of your choosing.
