Chalet Solitude Estate is located in the renowned neighbourhood of Kadenwood, where Whistler’s most exclusive luxury chalets are to be found. This area, tucked away in the trees above the valley floor, provides ski in ski out and private gondola access to the mountain and resort. Here privacy is ensured nearly 1,000 feet above the Creekside village yet only four minutes away by the private Kadenwood gondola.
One of Whistler’s newest luxury homes, Chalet Solitude offers and incredible 10,000 square feet of luxurious living space. With six bedrooms the chalet can accommodate up to 16 guests, making it an ideal choice for a memorable holiday with several families or a large group of friends. Entering via a custom-made copper door, it will be immediately evident that you are staying in one of the finest luxury chalets in Canada.
The open plan first floor is all about social entertainment with plenty of space to enjoy together. Unwind in the grand living room with gas fireplace, prepare family meals in the state-of-the-art professional kitchen and dine with sixteen of your closest friends at a custom marble table. The private whisky room and wine bar are the perfect spot for a bit of sophisticated relaxation and outside there is plentiful entertainment space. For some quiet time, there is also a private office and lounge.
Taking the stairs down one floor and you arrive into a quaint study and play area. Pass through this room and you enter into what must be a children’s dream room with three oversized queen-over-queen bunk beds, TV, bean bag chairs and ample room for playing.
Down one further floor and there are four en-suite bedrooms, two of which are master suites and one has its own private office. All these rooms enjoy deck access and excellent mountain views.
Finally, on the fourth and lowest floor there are plentiful spa and entertainment features which include your very own private gym, pool table, ping pong, and a full bar. There is also one more bedroom plus a massage room with daybed for extra sleeping capacity if needed. Outside you can enjoy the fantastic avant-garde container swimming pool and sunken hot tub with wooded views of the valley below.
This chalet is only a one-minute walk to private ski in ski out access and a one-minute drive to the private Kadenwood gondola. This gondola links the Kadenwood area to the extensive lift and trail systems on Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, as well as to a pedestrian village at the base of Creekside, with shops, grocery stores, restaurants and pubs.
