Chalet Hochkar in St Anton, and neighbour, Chalet Gamskar, are only a 300m ski to the main Nasserein lift, nursery slopes, ski school and kids kindergarten. If you are going to travel hundreds of miles to ski, you might as well travel an extra few hundred yards and stay close to the slopes.
Hochkar is an apartment which can accommodate 10-11 guests. No cheesy Alpine kitsch here, just warmth, comfort, and space. Add in a cracking location with large bedrooms, smart bathrooms and a spacious living area, and it all adds up to offer a fantastic base for your next ski holiday in Austria.
There are five bedrooms which can all be made up with twin or double beds and have plenty of room for a cot. One of the bedrooms also has an additional single bed to make a triple room and bring the occupancy up to 11.
To access the ski slopes, it is just a 300m walk to the Nasserien gondola which provides quick and easy access into the ski area. At the gondola is also a ski rental shop and ski depot for storage, as well as ski school meeting points.
At the end of your ski day, simply ski back to Nasserien where you can store your skis and boots, and you can walk back to the property in your normal boots or shoes.
In Nasserein there is a small selection of cafes, bars and restaurants, but the buzzing centre of St Anton is easily accessed with a pleasant and flat 10-15-minute walk. In the resort centre there is an eclectic choice of bars and restaurants, as well as a very well-stocked supermarket and a wellness and aquatic centre.
Chalet Hochkar is available to rent on a catered or bed & breakfast basis.
