Chalet Marius is nestled in an exclusive estate with a much sought-after location in Val d’Isère. Tucked away at the top of the hamlet of La Legettaz the setting is enchanting with magical south facing views of the Manchet valley. The chalet combines elegance, comfort and high-end amenities along with en-suite bedrooms and the all-important outdoor hot tub.
Arranged across three floors and 280m2 of floor area the chalet accommodates up to 10 guests in five bedrooms. On the top floor a bright, cathedral-ceilinged open plan living room delivers breathtaking south facing valley and mountain views. Oak parquet flooring, a fireplace, and a large table seating 12 create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
The chalet is well equipped for home cooking with two fully equipped kitchens with ovens, induction hobs, refrigerators, dishwashers, microwaves and a wine fridge. Outside, a balcony runs the width of the chalet, a great spot for morning coffee, and has stairs down to the lower terrace with hot tub.
The bedrooms are arranged across the lower two floors of the chalet. On the middle floor are two bedrooms. One is the spacious master suite with a seating area, dressing room, en-suite bathroom as well as direct terrace access to the outdoor hot tub. The second is a double or twin room with balcony access and en-suite shower room.
On the ground floor are a further three bedrooms all with en-suite shower rooms. There are two double bedrooms as well as one bedroom which can be set up with either a double or twin bed. One of these bedrooms also has direct access onto a terrace. All the bedrooms are equipped with televisions and hairdryers.
The chalet also features a dedicated cinema room on the middle floor which families with children will surely appreciate. It is also a much-loved feature for any non-skiers or on snowy days. The ski room on the ground floor has plenty of storage and boot warmers, and guests also have access to a laundry room.
If choosing to drive to Val d’Isere for your stay at Chalet Marius, there are also 2 covered car parking spaces available.
The chalet is well located for keen skiers, with the quickest way to reach the red Santons piste is via a 50m off-piste track accessible directly from the ski room. The blue Rogoney piste is also only 250m away from the chalet.
Alternately, the chalet manager is on hand to take guests anywhere in Val d’Isere in the chalet’s minibus. This service is available when the chalet manager is working in the chalet and is very helpful for any guests requiring ski school, returning from après ski, or any non-skiers also looking to enjoy the resort to the full.
The “Blue” ski bus route also connects the area of Legettaz with the Rond-Point des Pistes where the main snow front, ski lifts, and ski school meeting points are located just a short walk from the resort centre.
Chalet Marius is available to rent on a bed & breakfast basis including daily continental breakfast and afternoon tea, housekeeping, and in-resort driver service.
