The mountainside is close enough to touch. Watch the sunrise on the opposite side of the valley and the sunset behind the glorious Matterhorn from the comfort of the sofa.
From the chalet, take the complimentary taxi to either ski-lift, which is within 5 minutes, or stroll into the village to take in its charm and atmosphere. The aroma of hot gluewein and roasted chestnuts mingle in the crisp winter air, and the jingle of bells from the horse and carriages add to the sense of a winter fairy tale.
A private tunnel access with electronic security doors and video entry system, will lead you to your main entrance where you will find the reception, ready to welcome you in. Your holiday of a lifetime starts the moment you walk through the doors. The staff will be there to welcome you and escort you through the house to the lounge for your champagne reception.
Step out of the lift into the lounge and living area and it will take your breath away. Floor to ceiling glass windows offer panoramic views of the village and mountains. The beautiful scenery becomes the dramatic backdrop to your stay at Chalet Zermatt Peak, with the landscape within touching distance.
Every minute detail of Zermatt and the mountains are revealed. Watch the train chug its way up to the top of the Gornergrat, see the sunset behind the famous Matterhorn and admire the skiers in the distance weave their way downhill, all from the comfort of the sofa.
The modern open-plan layout boasts a large corner-seating area under a glass roof, library area with real fire, seated dining area and open kitchen. The balcony off the lounge offers additional outdoor space and of course, fantastic views. The living areas have been extensively interior designed, to include many bespoke pieces of furniture and unique artefacts and artworks.
The chalet has five individually designed bedroom suites, all offering deluxe double beds, seating and dressing areas and spectacular panoramic views. All rooms have HD cinema TV’s with digital surround sound and Bluetooth connection, in addition to remote controlled lighting, curtains and audio-visual, and balconies or terraces.
The en-suite bathrooms are equipped with hairdryers and straighteners, as well as beauty products and skincare by ESPA, and are stocked with designer robes and towels. All showers have overhead rain-shower fittings, hand-showers and body jets to refresh and rejuvenate. The master suite also offers a private Jacuzzi.
The wellness spa at Chalet Zermatt Peak has everything to offer guests, regardless of age or fitness. Guests can enjoy either a dry Finnish or a wet Swedish sauna, a bio steam in the hammam, or relax in the bubbles and jets of the Jacuzzi whirlpool. On warm, fine days, the windows can be completely removed to encompass the terrace space, and the Jacuzzi extended to outside.
Brand new for 2018 is the state-of-the-art TechnoGym. Here you will find all the latest equipment, which includes integrated TV, as well as connections to the built-in music system, so you can exercise to all your favourite tracks. After your work-out, power-showers are on hand to refresh and revive.
Your personal chef will be on hand to create and serve a mixture of international cuisine. You will be able to watch him cook in the open-plan kitchen using the finest ingredients whilst being served by your personal chalet staff. Breakfast, afternoon tea and full gourmet dinners are on offer to suit all tastes. Al-fresco dining and an external kitchen on the terrace is also available.
