Chalet Vilaiet
Chalet Vilaiet is a stylish ski in ski out chalet on the slopes of Ortisei Val Gardena in the Italian Dolomites. Opening its doors for the first time for the 2022/23 winter season, the chalet is embraced by nature, far from the hustle and bustle of village life. Located on the very edge of the ski slope and in the middle of a hiker’s paradise, this luxurious retreat is one of the finest luxury chalets in Italy.
The chalet, arranged over three floors and 290m2, combines a traditional chalet exterior, chic design and modern amenities. The heart of the chalet is the open plan living area on the top floor with a spacious dining area, cosy sofa and fireplace. Large glass windows provide unobstructed views of nature, whilst a big screen and high-end sound system from Bang & Olufsen provide for entertaining movie nights.
Sleeping 6-7 guests, the three en-suite double bedrooms are all arranged across the ground floor. All bedrooms have direct access to the garden and outdoor pool, and one room also features an additional single bed perfect for a child. Accessing the outside from this level you can enjoy the garden in the summer months or take a dip in the heated 10m x 4m swimming pool with counter-current system and massage jets.
On the lowest level of the chalet, you will discover the 150m2 wellness area with hammam, Finnish sauna, Aquamoon waterfall shower, snow shower, massage room, and gym with Technogym treadmill and a multifunctional bench. This private space will allow you to unwind after a day’s skiing, or perfect for any non-skiers to enjoy at any time. The relaxation area with comfortable seating, bar and TV is also part of the spa.
The chalet is located a 7-minute drive from the village of Ortisei with its pedestrianised centre with plentiful shops, cafés and restaurants. From the chalet you can ski down a red slope, Ortisei Furnes, to the Seceda cable car. For beginners there is also a ski school located at the gondola base station. The St. Ulrich Seiser Alm gondola, located on the other side of the village centre, provides access to the Seiser Alm ski area.
Chalet Vilaiet is available to rent on a catered chalet basis including an in-resort shuttle service. It is also possible to rent the chalet on a bed & breakfast basis on request too.
Prices are based on the exclusive use of the chalet for up to 6 guests. Price discounts apply for groups with 4 or 5 persons, whilst an additional supplement is charged for groups of 7 guests.
