Chalet Mont des Anges, renovated in 2024, is one of the finest luxury chalets in Morzine. Located on the sunny side of the valley between Morzine and Montriond, it is a 20-minute walk to the centre of Morzine via the famous suspension bridge. Outside, an enormous deck features an infinity swimming pool where you can enjoy the uninterrupted views over the Parc Dereches forest and Roc d’Enfer mountain.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and its setting built into the hillside offers excellent privacy for your holiday in the Alps. The entrance to the chalet is on the top floor where you can either arrive at the ski room or directly into the main open plan living area. The chalet delights with surprises at every turn including a glass wall and, behind it, an illuminated custom-built showpiece Twisted Land Rover Defender 110.
The chalet can sleep up to 14 guests in six bedrooms. On the top floor is the master bedroom with views over the mountains and an open bathroom with a glass shower and toilet. A few steps up from the entrance and you arrive at the main hub of the chalet, the open plan living-dining room and kitchen.
The lounge features a wood-burning stove, and the floor-to-ceiling glass doors perfectly frame the mountains. These doors can be slid back, and you can step onto the balcony where you can enjoy your morning coffee with an alpine backdrop. The dining table seats 14, and in winter, your host will lay out a continental breakfast for you and have afternoon tea waiting for you when you return after your day’s skiing.
Heading down to the middle floor of the chalet and this is where the main sleeping quarters are located. There are four bedrooms, all of which can be arranged with either a king size double bed or twin beds depending on your group’s requirements. Three of these bedrooms have en-suite facilities, whilst the other bedroom has access to a separate family bathroom. The final bedroom, a quad bunk room has four full-size single beds and is located on the lowest floor of the chalet.
The lowest floor of the chalet though is primarily dedicated to entertainment and relaxation. Step down into the sparkling and trendy bar, which in winter will be manned by a team of hosts and order a glass of champagne or a cocktail. What’s more, the drinks are included in the price of your stay during the winter! There is also a big-screen TV in the bar, a toilet, as well as an office nook with access to an Apple desktop computer.
The fun continues when you open the doors of the bar to reveal an enormous sun deck with uninterrupted views over fields, forests, and the Roc d’Enfer mountain. This stunning outdoor space and deck has an outdoor kitchen, hot tub and a heated 5m x 2m infinity pool with a swim current system.
The decking area also leads back inside to a sauna, shower and toilet, so you can easily alternate between all the wellness facilities. To finish off there is also a cinema room on this floor with a huge screen and comfy sofa. The cinema also has a display wine wall, and your hosts can serve you a glass or two from the bar, or even that movie essential, popcorn.
In the winter season you have access to an on-call 24-hour in-resort driver service to take you to the ski lifts and slopes, pick you up from restaurants and take you around both Morzine and neighbouring Les Gets. The chalet is also only a five-minute walk from the bars and restaurants in the charming village of Montriond and a 20-minute walk from the centre of Morzine and the Super Morzine lift, via the suspension bridge.
Chalet Mont des Anges is available to rent on a hosted basis including continental breakfast and afternoon tea, as well as chalet hosting and housekeeping on 5 days, bar drinks, plus 24-hour driver service around the resorts of Morzine and Les Gets seven days a week.
