Conceived as a residence defined by light, openness, and structural clarity, the owners acquired three adjoining plots to create a chalet that sits naturally within the landscape.
The chalet is spread across four levels and 1,000m2 of floor area, and accommodates up to 14 guests in seven en-suite bedrooms. The main living area is particularly striking, with expansive proportions and panoramic views across the town and surrounding mountain peaks. Floor-to-ceiling windows on all sides create a “living gallery” effect, integrating the landscape into the interior.
Despite the chalet’s size, the layout has been designed to feel calm and comfortable. Its horizontal arrangement creates more intimate areas throughout the home, while maintaining a constant connection to the alpine setting. The seven-bedroom suites balance the rawness of the structure with softer finishes and textiles, creating an ambiance more akin to a refined boutique hotel.
The bedrooms are located on the third floor, arranged into two separate wings with four rooms on one side and three on the other, creating distinct sleeping areas. Each room can be configured with either a king-size bed or twin beds, offering flexible accommodation for extended families, groups of friends, or corporate retreats.
The wellness floor is a defining feature of the property, centred around a 15-metre indoor swimming pool designed for both exercise and leisure. Large sliding glass panels open the space to the mountain air, creating a seamless indoor-outdoor experience throughout the year. Additional facilities include an outdoor hot tub, sauna / steam room, gym, and massage room.
For evening entertainment, the tiered cinema offers a deeply immersive experience, with plush deep-set sofas and a high-specification surround sound system that transforms every film into an enveloping cinematic escape.
Positioned on Morzine’s sought-after southern slope, Chalet Bisou enjoys uninterrupted views across the valley to the Pleney ski slopes and the peaks of Nyon. Its elevated setting ensures sunlight throughout the day and reinforces the architectural emphasis on openness and connection to the surrounding alpine environment.
Although privately positioned, the chalet remains closely connected to the centre of Morzine, which is located less than a kilometre away.
