For those needing a ski in ski out location in the world’s largest ski area, Chalet Fugue is a great choice. This great value catered chalet is one of Meribel’s original chalets and is full of authentic character. In the winter there is no vehicle access, and this traditional chocolate box style chalet has a magical setting in the trees. Recent renovations have blended the original chalet with some modern style.
The chalet is arranged over three floors with the main living room, dining area and kitchen on the middle floor. The large and open fireplace creates that perfect cosy ambiance which can be enjoyed whilst admiring the views over the snowy ski slopes and mountains. For children and teenagers, an additional smaller lounge/TV room on the ground floor is ideal for enjoying a movie as well as giving adults some grown up time in the main lounge.
Sleeping up to 10 adults, it is also possible to accommodate an additional 2 children under 12 years. There are three bedrooms on the ground floor and two bedrooms on the top floor. One of the bedrooms is a family room with an adjoining twin cabin room able to sleep two children. There are four bathrooms and three WC’s shared by the cosy and tastefully decorated bedrooms, as well as an additional WC on the middle floor.
The centre of Meribel is a short walk away, across the piste, and accessed via the escalator next to the Tourist Office. In the morning you can ski directly to La Chaudanne where the main ski lifts and ski school meeting points are. The chalets idyllic and ski in ski out location will be a big draw for those after a magical winter experience.
Chalet La Fugue is available on a catered chalet basis and is priced for up to 10 guests. There is an additional charge for the 11th or 12th person.
