Chalet Hygge is a newly renovated luxury ski chalet in the authentic mountain village of Le Raffort, 2km from Méribel Centre. The chalet is spread over 3 floors and 175m of living space. Sleeping up to 8 adults and 4 children in 5 en-suite bedrooms, it’s a homely and cosy chalet perfect for a couple of families or a group ski holiday in the heart of the 3 Valleys ski area.
The open plan living space is found on the first floor and is perfect for entertaining or just relaxing in front of the fireplace with a movie. The fully equipped kitchen with adjacent breakfast bar overlooks the dining table, perfect for talented cooks to show off their culinary skills.
The lounge area has a large and comfy sofa, a couple of chairs as well as the feature wood burning fireplace and large flat screen TV with international channels and Blue-ray DVD player. You can also step out on the balcony and enjoy the surrounding mountain views.
On the ground floor, you will find three very charming bedrooms full of warm woods, soft furnishings and designer bathrooms. There are 2 twin/double rooms as well as a children’s room with 2 bunk beds.
There is also a small hammam on the ground floor, perfect for some après ski relaxation. On the first floor there is a further double bedroom with terrace access and on the top floor is the master double with private balcony. All 5 bedrooms have TV’s.
The quiet and romantic village of Le Raffort has one restaurant and in good snow conditions it is possible to ski back to the chalet.
To access the vast expanse of this ski area, the Olympic gondola is just a 220m walk away. This lift takes you directly to the Chaudanne in Méribel Centre where all the main ski lifts depart, as well as being the main meeting point for all ski schools. There is also a ski bus stop at the entrance to Le Raffort, which takes you to the shops and restaurants of Méribel Centre, as well as the ski lifts and slopes.
Chalet Hygge is available on a self-catered basis, but it is possible to add in additional services such as a chef and in-resort chauffeur service – please enquire for further details.
