Serene is a self-catered apartment located in the heart of Meribel. This spacious apartment is set across one floor and 173m2 of floor area and is within the Genepi Residence. Sleeping 8-12 guests in five bedrooms, this beautifully decorated property is well equipped with an outdoor hot tub, sauna and cinema room. The location could not be better with all the resort has to offer within easy reach.
At the heart of the home is the open-plan living space with dining and kitchen area, offering the perfect space for time together. Warm up in front of the contemporary gas fireplace, before enjoying relaxed dinners at the dining table. The modern kitchen, with its central island, is perfectly equipped for home cooking. French doors lead out onto the balcony where the Nordic bath is located.
There are four double bedrooms all with access to the long balcony that runs the length of the apartment. Three of the bedrooms have en-suite shower rooms, whilst one has an en-suite bathroom, and all have TVs. The fifth bedroom is a quad bunk room sleeping four children and this room has its own separate shower room with toilet.
Once back from the ski slopes, especially during the colder months in the depths of winter, you will surely appreciate the warmth of the sauna. There is also a cinema room for cosy movie nights, and this is a great additional space for any family groups. A dedicated laundry room is also available for guest use which is always handy, especially if travelling with young children.
The location is perfect for those looking to be within walking distance of all that the centre of Meribel has to offer. The quickest way to access the ski slopes is by a 250m downhill walk to the tourist office, and where you can take an escalator up to the Doron ski slope. Once on the Doron piste, it is a 500m ski down this blue piste to the main lift hub and snow front of the Chaudanne.
Alternatively, you can use the Méribus ski shuttle bus, and you have a choice of two routes, with stops 250-300m from the residence. If new to skiing, this is the easiest way to access the ski school meeting points at the Chaudanne snow front and lift hub.
At the end of your ski day, you can ski back down the Doron piste to the top of the escalator. After descending the escalator, you can either walk straight back to your apartment or stop for a drink or two in the resort centre first. The ski bus is also convenient for those looking to return to the apartment from the various après ski venues dotted around the resort, especially once the ski lifts and slopes have closed for the day.
The shops, bars and restaurants of Meribel Centre start at only 100m from the residence, with a further 100m downhill walk bringing you right into the heart of the resort. For those looking to home cook for the week, Meribel has a large supermarket for provisioning. If you prefer to dine out in the evenings, there is a wide choice of restaurants for all budgets.
The property includes two private parking spaces located on the first floor of the building’s car park. Each space is equipped with a car charger. The car park has a maximum height of two metres, and the spaces are tight, so it is not recommended for large vehicles. To access, you will need to stop on a steep slope to enter a code on the way in. When leaving, you will drive up a curved slope and get out of the car to enter the exit code.
