Chalet Nid d’Hiver is a luxury alpine chalet nestled in the heart of Courchevel 1550. The exceptional location is only a 1-minute walk from the Grangettes gondola which links you directly into the heart of Courchevel 1850 in just a few minutes. The chalet combines traditional chalet architecture alongside a contemporary interior and modern amenities for the perfect mountain escape.
Spread across four floors and 230m2 of floor area, the chalet comfortably accommodates up to 10 guests in five en-suite bedrooms. Entering the chalet on the ground floor there is a ski room for easy storage of your mountain equipment, along with a conveniently located toilet. There are also three bedrooms on this level, two with double beds and the other with either a double or twin beds.
Taking the stairs up to the first floor and there are a further two double bedrooms both with en-suite shower rooms and balconies. Taking the stairs down from the ground floor and there is a private sauna where you can unwind after a day on the slopes of the 3 Valleys.
Up on the top floor and the dramatic open plan living spaces awaits your arrival. Set beneath the beautiful timber roof, large windows afford views across the mountains and onto the ski slopes. An expansive open-plan kitchen, dining and living area centred around a wood-burning fireplace offers plentiful space for all your group to come together.
The lounge area makes the best of the views with large sofas facing out across the valley. Tucked away behind the fireplace is also a separate TV snug that provides a comfortable spot to relax with a movie. A Sonos sound system also flows throughout the living, dining and kitchen areas, ensuring every space is equipped for entertaining with your favourite tunes.
The chalet has a location in the centre of Courchevel 1550 meaning all the resort amenities such the supermarket, ski rental or restaurants, can be reached on foot within a few minutes. Just a minute walk from the chalet is the Grangettes gondola and the bottom of the ski slopes, where the ski school meeting points are all located.
Once at the top of the Grangettes gondola in Courchevel 1850 you have a choice of three gondolas to continue further up the mountain, or you can just head directly onto the ski slopes. The gondola is also great for any non-skiers in your group as it makes it easy to access the centre of Courchevel 1850 with its abundant boutiques, bars and restaurants, as well as the leisure amenities in the Forum centre.
Chalet Nid d’Hiver is available to rent on a self-catered or catered chalet basis.
