There are a few exceptions to this, luxury catered ski chalets that provide it all, in an all-inclusive package.

Val d’Isère really does have it all. The resort centre sits at a high altitude of 1,850m and the skiing extends to an elevation of 3,455m, meaning this is one of the most snow-sure ski resorts in Europe. With the ski lifts opening around 26th November until May 1st this resort provides one of the longest ski seasons available.
