Chalet Golden Jubilee is a brand new luxury ski chalet in the high altitude ski resort of Val Thorens. Completed in time for the 2018/19 winter ski season, the chalet is orientated south with stunning views over the ski area and surrounding snow covered mountain peaks. Situated at the top of the resort you will have direct access to the ski slopes of Val Thorens which are part of the 3 Valleys ski area. With 2 glaciers and ski slopes reaching over 3,000m in height, snow-sure skiing is available from November to May.
The chalet is arranged over three floors and 340m2 of living space. Sleeping 10-12 people there are 5 en-suite double or twin bedrooms plus a bunk room with separate bathroom. The crowning glory of the chalet is the 45m2 spa area located on the entrance level. The private indoor swimming pool also features an integrated hot tub area. There is also a relaxation area to enjoy before relaxing tired muscles in either the sauna or steam room.
The stunning top floor with double height ceilings is home to the spacious living area. This open plan space features a well-equipped kitchen with island unit that open out onto the dining table with seating for 12. The feature wood burning fireplace is the centre in the middle of the floor, ensuring it can be enjoyed.
The lounge with plentiful comfy seating also has a dedicated TV area and is centred on the south facing picture windows which open out onto a balcony so you can take full advantage of the stunning views.
There is one double / twin bedroom with en-suite shower room located on the top floor. The elevator connects the entrance floor and top floor – it does not stop on the middle floor.
The middle floor of the chalet is home to a further 4 double / twin bedrooms. Two of the bedrooms have south facing balconies and all feature en-suite bathrooms with both bathtubs and separate showers. The final bedroom is located on the entrance level and is a bunk room sleeping 2 with a separate bathroom.
Access to the ski slopes could not be easier as you only have to walk 150m to the Hotel Koh-I Nor, click into your skis or snowboard and slide away into the ski area. For those that convenient access to the skiing is the ultimate ski holiday luxury, then Chalet Golden Jubilee is an excellent choice.
The nearest ski lifts are a 300m ski away and the Place Caron with Tourist office in the centre of Val Thorens is about 500m. You can either walk the 10-15 minutes to the resort centre or use the in-resort shuttle service that is available to guests at the chalet.
The chalet also benefits from a private ski room as well as 3 car parking spaces in the garage shared with Chalet Culilinan and Chalet Orlov. For larger groups Chalet Golden Jubilee can be rented in conjunction with Chalet Cullinan and Chalet Orlov to sleep groups of up to 34 people. With its snow-sure slopes and modern lift system a ski holiday in Val Thorens is a great choice for dedicated skiers and snowboarders.
The chalet is available on a self-catered basis and bed & breakfast basis, and also includes free access to the spa with swimming pools, sauna, Jacuzzi and relaxing rooms plus fitness room of the Hotel Koh-I Nor, which is located nearby.
