Chalet Nepal has been completely renovated for the 2016/17 winter ski season. The chalet is ideally located in Rochebrune, not far from the ski slopes, ski school meeting point and shops. There is a resort ski shuttle stop just a few meters from the chalet allowing access without using your own vehicle.
Even after its facelift, the exterior of this luxury Megève chalet still retains a charming 1970’s atmosphere, with a mix of stone and wooden cladding, low slung roof and eaves and exposed round beams. Inside the wood has been stripped back to produce a light and modern interior. Simple and elegant bedrooms and well-appointed bathrooms have been mixed with more quirky and unique pieces in the living areas, to create a unique chalet that is quite charming.
Sleeping 8 adults and 2 children in 5 bedrooms with either en-suite or separate bathrooms, this property is spread over 3 floors and 220m2 of floor area. You enter the chalet on the ground floor where there are 3 of the double guest bedrooms. For relaxation after a hard days skiing or shopping in beautiful Megève, unwind in the chalets own sauna. There is also a laundry room and ski room with boot warmers located on this floor.
Upstairs, you will discover the open plan living space with south-west facing balcony. A ski holiday is about spending quality time together, and with the lounge, dining and kitchen all open to each other, this is the perfect space for unwinding, playing games and dinner parties. The master double bedroom is located off the main living area.
The top floor, set out under the eaves, will delight the children in your group. Here they will discover their own chalet paradise full of magic and away from the adults. The twin bedroom, with reduced head height, is a cosy and snug room that the kids will find delightful. Best of all is the separate lounge room with built in seating and TV, meaning the hardest thing will be getting the children to sleep in the evenings.
