Chalet La Maison du Praz is a beautifully renovated barn located in the centre of Courchevel Le Praz. The most authentic village in the Courchevel valley, Le Praz is a wonderful base for a charming French ski holiday. There is a great selection of restaurants and bars all within an easy walk of the chalet, making it a great choice for a self-catered ski holiday. The chalet is arranged over three floors, 180m2 of living space and can accommodate up to eight people in four bedrooms.
The top floor of the chalet is home to the open plan living spaces and shows off the restored old wooden frame of the building. The lounge area faces a wood burning fireplace and also has a reading corner. The dining table comfortably seats eight and the kitchen is well-equipped for cooking up home meals. An east facing balcony overlooks the centre of the resort and gives a view of the Brigues ski slope.
On the middle floor there are three bedrooms all of which can be arranged with either twin or double beds. Two of the rooms have en-suite shower rooms and the third an en-suite bathroom. The ground floor of the chalet is where you will find the master room, again with twin or double bed and an en-suite bathroom. There is also a laundry room and a garage which has ski boot warmers.
The ski lifts are an easy and flat 250m walk away, with one of the lifts connecting you directly to the Croisette main lift hub in the centre of Courchevel 1850 in only six minutes. At the Croisette there are the ski school meeting points for many of the international ski schools. Ski slopes return you to the bottom of the lifts in Le Praz at the end of your day’s skiing, and there are also ski lockers available to rent at the bottom of the slopes.
