Chalet Chardon is a modern luxury ski chalet in St Martin de Belleville. This conveniently located self-catered chalet is only a 200m walk to the resort centre, bottom of the ski slopes, and nearest ski lift. This is a great chalet for those looking for a luxury chalet that offers both great value and facilities, plus a convenient location for accessing the ski slopes of the 3 Valleys.
The chalet is arranged over four floors and 190m2 of floor area. Throughout the chalet, a palette of neutral colours, combined modern furnishings, have created an elegant interior decoration. This design is evident on the top floor where the open plan living spaces sit beneath the impressive wood roof. A large feature fireplace, with stone chimney, dominates the lounge area which opens out onto a balcony overlooking the resort.
To the rear of the top floor is the dining area and the table comfortably seats 8. Further back is the open plan kitchen which also features an island unit with small breakfast bar. From the kitchen you can step out to a rear terrace where you will find the outdoor Nordic style hot tub. What better way to unwind after a day’s skiing than under the stars having the hot water eases tired muscles.
Sleeping up to 8 guests there are four en-suite bedrooms, and all can be set up with either double or twin beds. On the first floor there are three bedrooms all with en-suite showers, whilst the final bedroom is on the second floor and has an en-suite bathroom. Also on the second level is a cinema room with large L-shaped sofa.
On the entrance ground floor there are further spa facilities with a good-sized steam room. There is also a ski room with boot heaters, laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer, and a garage.
The chalet is an easy walk away from the Place de l’Eglise in the resort centre, and where the shops and restaurants are concentrated, as well as conveniently located ski lockers which are available for rent. It’s from this square that you can go skiing, thanks to the Village ski lift which takes you a little way up the slopes. From here you can then ski down a gentle slope to the ski school meeting points as well as the main fast Saint Martin gondola which quickly whisks you up the mountain.
From Saint Martin de Belleville it is easy to ski over to Meribel, or further up the valley to Les Menuires and Val Thorens. The blue slope, Biolley, which brings you back to the resort, is a long, wide, and fun piste on which to end your day’s skiing.
