Chalet Foinsbois
Chalet Foinsbois is the ultimate home from home on the slopes. Sumptuously furnished, with excellent facilities, it is conveniently located for the skiing yet is in a secluded location – arguably the most sought after position within the ultra discreet Méribel Village.
The focal point of the ski chalet is the stunning main reception room, whose space cleverly houses a central fireplace, library, sitting room, TV corner and cosy dining area. On the lower ground floor level there is a sauna, games room, gym, cinema room and access to the hot tub.
The chalet sleeps up to 15 guests; six of the bedrooms are on the upper two floors with bedroom 7 situated on the lower ground floor. The master suite on the first floor, comprising a large bedroom with fireplace, balcony, en-suite bathroom and study / library enjoys uninterrupted views of the valley from its balcony.
The remainder of the spacious interior features a homely kitchen, lovely art and antiques as well as boasting all the expected modern luxuries; even the outdoor hot tub is formed out of beautiful old stone.
Despite its very private location, the chalet is just two minutes walk from the fast ‘Golf’ chair lift providing quick access up to the Altiport sector and the slopes of Méribel, Courchevel and Val Thorens. (It is also possible to ski back to the chalet.) Alternatively, the chalet is a five minute drive in your chauffeured vehicle to the lively heart of Méribel Centre or a ten minute drive to La Tania.
The food offered is a huge part of what sets a holiday at Chalet Foinsbois apart. Dining at the chalet has always been a memorable experience, akin to eating in a top quality restaurant.
You’ll start your day with a beautifully presented breakfast of fruit juices, a freshly made “smoothie” or fruit / vegetable juice, fresh coffees, teas, yoghurts, cereals, porridge, a hot dish – like a “Eggs Royale” or a “full English breakfast”, jambon cru, cheeses, fresh fruit salad, fresh bread and freshly baked croissants and jams.
After your day on the slopes, homemade cakes and biscuits await you in the sitting room. Dinner is the pièce de résistance. Before your meal, canapés and champagne allow you to unwind in true style. You’re then treated to an exceptional four-course meal, rounded off with freshly ground coffee, a digestif and homemade truffles.
Chalet Foinsbois is available on a catered chalet basis and is priced for up to 12 guests. There is an additional charge for further guests.
