Chalet Ighzer
Chalet Ighzer is one of the most luxurious catered chalets in Nendaz, Swizterland. Arranged over three floors and offering 400m2 of elegant living space, the chalet’s crowning glory are the extensive private spa facilities. Only a few minute’s drive from the centre of Nendaz, Ighzer is a wonderful home for a luxury ski holiday.
The chalet sleeps 12 guests in five bedrooms all with en-suite bath or shower rooms. There are four double bedrooms, one of which can be arranged with a twin bed. The final bedroom has two sets of queen-size bunk beds sleeping up to 4 people and works perfectly as a children’s room during the school holidays.
The open plan living room is arranged over the ground floor with the lounge and dining room centred on the large feature fireplace. The vaulted timber ceilings and large picture windows opening out onto the terrace all lend to the feeling of grandeur. The open plan kitchen with additional dining area is a few steps up on a mezzanine area.
The chalets spa facilities are located on the ground floor and feature an 8m long swimming pool, indoor hot tub, sauna and fitness room. Chalet Ighzer is only 1km to the main Haute-Nendaz lift station / resort centre, but, weather permitting, it is possible to ski back to the chalet.
As seems obligatory with chalets in Nendaz, the views of the high mountain peaks and Rhone valley below are just breathtaking.
During the ski season it is mandatory to arrive by car with 4×4 and/or snow chains to reach the chalet. After a small walk you can reach the ski piste at Les Cleves.
