Chalet La Grange Martinel is a stunning Scandinavian styled luxury ski chalet tucked away in the charming streets of Beranger, a few minutes’ drive above St Martin de Belleville. This authentic mountain home has been radically renovated to capture the spirit of a ski chalet but with stylish interiors, panoramic views all with a charming and peaceful location.
The chalet is arranged over three floors with the spacious and light open plan living areas located on the top floor. The wood clad kitchen flows into the dining area and beyond towards the sitting area where floor to ceiling windows fill the width of the chalet out onto a terrace with hot tub. An abundance of reclaimed wood clads the ceiling and walls and there is subtle downlighting.
In the evenings cosy up on the modern sofas, relax with a movie and be warmed by the wood burning fireplace. Alternatively, you can just rejoice in the most spectacular views across rooftops and beyond to the mountains. The stunning designer kitchen with large island, also a wood clad affair, is decked out with everything you could need to whip up fabulous evening dinners.
The large wooden dining table is the setting for evening dinner parties with a relaxed and social ambience. To ease aching muscles there is both a hot tub on the terrace with impressive views and also a sauna on the ground floor. The chalet also has a boot room area in the garage with heated boot warmers and ski racks.
The chalet sleeps 8-12 guests in five en-suite bedrooms arranged over the ground and first floors. Four bedrooms have fixed double beds whilst the fifth room is a quad bunk room perfect for children. The gorgeous rooms have reclaimed timber clad ceilings and feature walls and the sumptuous towels, bathrobes and luxurious toiletries make the rooms the perfect sanctuary after a day’s skiing.
The Chalet Martinel is available to rent on a self-catered chalet basis and it is possible to add in an optional driver service at additional cost – please enquire for full details. Located right in the heart of the old village of Beranger, you are only an 8 minute drive to St Martin de Belleville village and the ski lifts and slopes of the 3 Valleys ski area.
